CASINO 2011

Attention all boys and girls pre-competitive & competitive parents!!!

Salta's Casino is booked for January 7 and 8, 2011. Shifts that you can sign up for are:

1:45pm-8:00pm,
8:00pm-1:30am,
and the Count Room is 10:30pm-2:00am.

Coaches/Judges Fall Conference

Four of our competitive coaches (Kristin, Karly, Vanessa and Laurel) will attend this Fall Conference in Calgary at the UofC on September 25-26, 2010. Have fun and bring back lots of drills and progressions.

Salta had an amazing showing in Canmore last weekend! Congrats to all the boys and girls for the fantastic showing. Altogether we brought home 52 medals!!!!!!!

Mom's Pantry Fundraising

We have started Fundraising with Mom's Pantry! There is some really neat stuff in there (apparently the the honey oatmeal raisin cookies are fabulous and I hear the assorted tea biscuits are to die for!). Get your orders in by May 25 and you too may have a chance to sample these scrumptious delicacies!

No Training on Sunday

There will be no training on Sunday for the Pre competitive girls due to provincials. Training will resume on Tuesday, April 19th, 2010.

Canmore Invitational

Registration is taking place! If you wish to attend this meet please be sure to see Eva with the registration payment ($80) by April 20th. The theme this year is the 80's!

The boys and girls will be competing this weekend April 16- 19th in St.Albert.

One Heck of a Meet

Congrats to all the athletes who participated in this years Cactus Classic! A huge thanks to all the volunteers and families who helped make this event a successful one!

Upcoming Cactus Classic

The Cactus Classic is right around the corner and that being said we are still in need of a few more volunteers. If you are able to help please sign up on the window or talk to Connie Carlson. Set up is on Thursday afternoon. We could always use some extra hands there as well.

Alberta Winter Games Results

Zone 1 did a tremendous job this weekend up in Cold Lake!

The P2 team finished 4th AA
The P2/P3 Team finished 2nd AA.

Alysha finished 1st AA for the P4 Category

We had the pleasure of having Alberta's own tumbling expert Derek Hanson join us for Christmas camps! We hopefully can have him return later in January to help again with our tumbling!
