Exelta Cup This Weekend!

Our competitive season officially kicks off this weekend in Red Deer at the Exelta Cup. Good luck to all competitors, coaches and judges attending!

Emergency Board Meeting

There is a emergency board meeting tonight. If you sit on the board your presence is greatly desired.

Mini-Meet

We will be having a mini-meet on Friday, January 23, 2009 to prepare for Exelta Cup. All female competitive athletes will participate (even if they are not going to Exelta). We will have a panel of 3 judges. I would appreciate it if I could get a scorer and a flasher as well. The categories will be as follows:

P1- Tianna M., Courtney, Madison, and Kalista
P2- Erica, Brooklyn, Jadyn, Samantha, Tayler, Alysha S., Jaslyn,
P3- Sydney, Tiana P. Shandler, and Alysha M (floor/Beam/ 1 arm vault)
P5/Pre-Novice - Sheehan, Olivia (execution scores to count only)

Warm-up will be at 4:30-5:00.
Competition will start at 5:00.

I would like to have a Champions Lunch after. If you could sign up with Tera as to what you could bring on the list that would be fantastic.

Meat/Cheese Tray
Veggies and Low fat dip
Fruit Tray
Carb Tray (pita 1/4's for ex)

Awards will be handed out after the event.

New Suits Are In!

The new competitive leotards and training suits are in. Please be sure that your child's suit is paid for. I will need to double check all sizes in case there needs to be alterations so please be sure to be at the gym tomorrow.

Mandatory Pre Competitive and Competitive Meeting

Please note that ALL (boys and girls) competitive and pre-competitive parents are required to attend a meeting this Friday,January 9th,2009 at 7pm regarding Cactus Classic.

Another cool device I saw at Gym-Action in Quebec. I thought this was a great idea!

While at the level 4 course in Ottawa I got a chance to see a couple of gyms. At Gym-Action they had a couple of bars strapped to the ceiling!
