New Year, New Session, New Coaches

Happy 2013!

We want to welcome you back to a new year and a new session at Salta Gymnastics. This is another record breaking session for us!

We also want to welcome four new coaches to our staff. Randa and Kianna were both competitive athletes with Salta and have come back to share their love of gymnastics with pre-school and recreational athletes. Kaitlyn enjoyed our recreational program as an athlete so much, she thought she'd come back and have twice as much fun coaching it. And lastly,  we welcome Alin, who is currently our top male competitive athlete.

Some new Junior coaches on our staff include Scout, Tianna and Olivia. All three have a lot of energy and enthusiasm to share with the recreational and pre-school programs.

Please say hello to the new faces in our gym and help us welcome our new staff!

The office will be closed Dec 22-25 so we can celebrate with our families. We will be open again on the 26th to help with registration for Winter Classes. Come on in to register and watch some of our competitive athletes achieve their preseason goals.

Fall Fundraiser News

This is a reminder to all parents that participated in the Cookie Dough and Cheesecake fundraiser, the orders  have to be picked up on Thursday November 29 between 4-9pm.
We do not have a freezer here at the gym, so the orders cannot be picked up any other day.

Parking Lot

Throughout the winter, the Salta parking lot can sometimes become quite slick. Please be careful when parking on the incline in the front of the building. There have already been some instances of vehicles sliding down it.

We are doing our best to remedy the situation. Even if you are not parking on the incline, be very careful if you are walking up it.

Thank you for your understanding while we work to resolve this issue.

Happy Halloween

A reminder to all Pre-School goblins and ghouls, it's Halloween Week! Please wear your costumes to gymnastics this week for some extra fun flips!

Also, there will be no classes on Wednesday October 31, 2012. Indoor Playground will still be open!

AGF Fall Congress

This Thursday-Sunday is the 1st Fall Congress offered by Alberta Gymnastics Federation. Salta is sending four of our competitive coaches to the conference to learn from gymnastics greats!
We look forward to this opportunity to learn from experts in our field and hope to come home with a wealth of knowledge to share with our other staff members and all the athletes.

Some class changes will occur for competitive classes this weekend:

- Vanessa and Kendra are back for the Thursday and Friday night classes. (YAY!)

- The P2/PN group will be cancelled on Friday night.

- Dave will be coaching the P2/PN group on Sunday

- All competitive girls will train with Karly on Sunday morning

There will be no interruption to Pre-school and Recreational Classes

Happy Thanksgiving!

Salta Staff would like to remind you that the gym is closed this weekend (October 6-8),
so we can celebrate Thanksgiving with our families.

Regular classes begin again on Tuesday October 9.
